And Another (Teen Star) Bites the Dust

Jamie Lynn Spears was so cute as Zoey in Zoey 101. Why did yet another teen star have to go and make another poor choice? Why do I have to keep having discussions with my kids about the difference between what their favorite TV characters do on screen and in real life?

Personally, I think the networks (Nickelodeon, Disney, etc) need to start putting some guidelines regarding their actors in place - since obviously their parents aren’t doing it. Plus Nickelodeon’s PR team now has to do damage control in addition to Miss Spear’s own management team doing it.

CNN has pulled together quite a few parent reactions to the whole Jamie Lynn’s pregnant news - I didn’t realize she was living with her 19 year old boyfriend. What kind of parent allows that and then claims to be surprised when her teenage daughter becomes “unexpectedly” expecting???
