Are the holidays over yet?
Oh my is all I can say! After celebrating Christmas Day at our house with the kids and my parents, we packed everyone up for a 5 hour drive to visit my husband’s side of the family. Three days later, 2 more holiday gatherings, and very little sleep, we are home, but the holidays aren’t done yet. No, we have a get together with my brothers and their families tomorrow - celebrating both Christmas and my youngest daughter’s birthday. That means more presents, more food, and more chaos!
I am soooo looking forward to Wednesday when we all return to our regularly programmed lives and I can take a BIG deep breath - and a nap….

The holidays continue here as well. Kids return to school on the 7th. My daughter told me I was wrong. What’s new. She claimed they had two more weeks. I assured there was only one more.

We just had our last holiday family get together today. I’m so glad it’s over. The kids are going to a lock in at the church with youth group on new years - and I’m going to enjoy a little quiet for a change :)
