Bring On Spring

by char on March 8th, 2007

Racor X-Rack Sports Equipment Storage Rack #PXR-RIt’s March and while it tried to snow just a few counties north of us yesterday, I am officially saying goodbye to winter. Really. I’m done with it. It’s over. The sun was shining here and I have been noticing signs of spring everywhere I go.

As I drive through the neighborhoods, the soccer fields and baseball diamonds are full of life and activity again. The kids are asking for their bikes to come out of winter storage and everyone feels more energetic - ready to get out and get fresh air.

My girls and I are feeling the need to go to the local mall! Enough with bulky sweaters. It is time to go through those closets, weed out the stuff that doesn’t fit and take stock of what new needs to be purchased. Capris and shorts, here we come!

The kids are all moaning and groaning about the upcoming standardized exams - which ultimately means that they are in the home stretch. Just a few more months of school and summer break will be upon us.

Spring is here - whether it wants to be or not - and I am really glad it is. How about you? What are the tell tale signs of spring in your daily routine?
