Christmasy Slippers
For some reason, Jamie (as a kid) had no problem finding a new pair of slippers under the tree and he still doesn’t to this day. Actually, last year one of the last gifts that he opened was his slippers and he was starting to get a bit nervous. I guess now that he has grown up, he realizes that if he doesn’t get slippers as one of his Christmas presents, he’s going to have to go out and buy his own, so receiving them for Christmas saves him spending his own money. But the reason for this entry is the fact that you can start a tradition in your family that the kids will actually enjoy.
Same goes for a new pair of pajamas for Christmas. It certainly makes Christmas shopping a lot easier on a weary parent if you have a few staples to go under the tree.
And just in case you are wondering what to do with the pajama tops once they grow out of them. I would stuff the tops with fibre fill, sew the neck, wrists and waistband closed, and turn them into throw pillows for their bed. Brings back memories of Christmases gone by… at least for me lol…

LOL A pajama top throw pillow with arms would freak me out but it’s a cute idea. I’ll try that soon. :)

It’s fun seeing what kids want for Christmas. My daughter suddenly announced the other day that she wanted a pink bathrobe for Christmas. No idea where that came from… well, except the part about it being pink. That much was obvious.
