Decorating For Easter… Let the Kids Do It

by SP on April 8th, 2006

Pacon Origami Paper, Pack Of 55 SheetsHere is great project to keep yur little ones occupied for one of the rainy days I’m sure we are going to have before Easter arrives. All you have to do is invest in a package of plastic Easter Eggs for each child. Your next stop is the craft store for glue and felt shapes. Depending on the age of your children, you might want to add some “googly eyes”.

Hand everything over to the kids and let them start creating their little masterpieces. The eggs can then be used to decorate window sills or perhaps part of your diningroom table centerpiece.

*Special Note to Moms

I would stay close or you might even want to set up a tape recorder to catch the conversation that is sure to take place. Little snippits can then be written down on little pieces of paper, dated and then slipped into each egg. In the years to come, you are going to love to open the eggs and read about an afternoon that took place years and years earlier.
