How Well Do You Know Your Daughter

Thanks to Parenting Teen’s author Gayle, I now have another great resource site to fully explore - Dads & Daughters. The mission of the site is to help foster the relationship between Fathers and their Daughters.

In addition to many helpful articles and resources, there is a quiz that Dads can take - kind of like a scorecard - to help identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in the relationship.  Here are a few of the yes or no questions:

• I can name her 3 best friends
• I know my daughter’s goals
• I comment on my wife/partner’s weight
• I’m physically active with my daughter (shoot hoops, jog, etc.)
• I make dinner for my family
• I talk to my daughter about managing money
• I spend 1/2 hour, 1-on-1with her, doing something we both enjoy

There are 34 questions - all of them very good! I highly recommend the quiz - I just emailed it to my husband.
