It’s Shaping Up To Be A Busy Weekend
Do you ever have days where you would just like the world to stop long enough for you to catch your breath? Today was one of those days.
Yesterday we were out all day. We took the kids to Busch Gardens for a day of fun and family time riding roller coasters, sharing laughs, and eating junk food. The weather was perfect and we really had a nice time.
Today it hit me - we have a gymnastics competition this weekend, two birthday parties, and I have to finish taxes. My daughter’s leotard was not clean, we haven’t bought birthday gifts yet and the taxes are no where near done. Not to mention that I have work to do in all that.
So, I got the gymnastics stuff washed. Then the girls and I managed to get to FiveBelow to do some shopping for their friends. You have got to love that place - lots of variety, not a big price. We picked out two fun containers and selected a variety of artsy things, some fun treats, and lip gloss to add to the containers.
The kids go back to school on Monday and I am looking forward to the quiet hum of me and my computer again and the return of a normal schedule.
