I’ve Got Choo Choo Soul - Three Kid Circus
Music played a big part in our lives when the kids were growing up… especially for Britt and it all came back to me when I read “I’ve Got Choo Soul” over at Three Kid Circus a few days ago. She was talking about music that is specifically recorded for children and I suppose Britt had her favorites from the children’s programs she watched, But she also had a thing for Corey Heart. She must have been the only ten year old who knew all the words to this song…
But it gets better…
In the mall was a full sized cardboard figure of Corey Heart sitting on a motor cycle. She fell in love with it on sight and hinted that she would love to have that for her room. So, I walk into the record store and ask the manager if I could have it when they were finished with the display, hoping that he believed my story about it being for my daughter.
Have you any idea how humiliating it was to carry Corey Heart on a motor cycle through the mall and out to my car. The things you do for your kids!!
