Kitchen Cleaning… Yes, Kids Can Help

by SP on September 21st, 2006

Cuisinart SCO-60 Deluxe Stainless Steel Can Opener SCO-60A necessary evil I’m afraid, but it doesn’t hurt to have a few little tried and true tips to make it easier. Like the one for the electric can opener. A little liquid soap and a toothbrush makes quick work of a nasty job. And it is just soooo easy to unplug it and stick it back into the cupboard.

And then there’s the one about cleaning the oven. That’s another nasty job if you leave it too long. These are all things that your kids are going to have to know when they finally move out on their own. Believe it or not, Jamie can actually feed himself. The state of the can opener and his oven… I hope the practice rubbed off on him.
