Kubit2Me Game Giveaway
Girls like to talk - especially tween girls - especially with their friends. Add an element of movement and surprise and you have a hit game like the very cool Kubit2Me line. Kubit2Me is a fun, fuzzy, really unique game of self-expression that launched last year. Two of the games in the Kubit2Me product line – Kubit2me Truth or Dare Edition and Kubit2me Now You’re Talkin’ Edition – were specifically created to address a void in the teen and tween toy and game market, and were designed to get parents to reconnect with their kids and kids to connect with each other. (The 3rd one, Kubit2me Lil’ Scholars Abc’s & 123’s Edition, is geared more towards younger kids.)
We had the opportunity to review the game and my 9 year old and her friends give Kubit2Me two thumbs up. As a matter of fact when one of my daughter’s friends called last week to invite Miss M over for a sleepover, she specifically asked her to bring the Kubit2Me Truth or Dare game. They love tossing each other a surprise and wearing the bracelets that are the points.
Basically you start with the fuzzy cube and place the game cards in its pockets. Toss the cube from player to player, pull a card and do as it says. Depending on which game you select the rewards vary.
We are giving away a Kubit2Me game to a lucky WearyParent reader. Simply leave a comment with your answer to one of these Kubit2Me questions by Friday, July 11 and you can win one!
- What makes you feel confident about yourself?
- How do you choose your friends?
- If you had an hour of free time how would you spend it?
- What is the greatest song ever written?
- Define hip. Are you hip?
Kubit2Me is a fun way to break the ice at a birthday party, group outing, or family evening. So, what are you waiting for - catch the cube and answer one of the questions!

Hmm, interesting questions. This sounds a little like the box of questions someone (you?) mentioned a few months ago, which were designed to prompt family discussions. I bought a box, and the children love them, and fight to be the one to pick the question for the meal. So they’d definitely love something like this.
My answers:
I feel confident when I look the part and feel prepared.
I choose my friends for their positive attitude.
An hour of free time? By myself with a book!
The greatest song ever written … an impossible question as it depends on mood of the moment. The song I have in my head just now is Hazel O’Connor’s Will You.
And hip? Nobody is hip who thinks they are. But that doesn’t mean that if I think I’m not, I am!

I am not always 100% confident. Most of the time; however, I am. One of my parents told me that there would always be someone smarter, prettier, etc. than me, but the opposite is also true. There will be someone less smarter, less prettier than me. There is only one me in this whole entire world. I have to make the best of who I am. This would be a wonderful game to take on our Mother/Daughter Retreat every October. Please enter me in this fun contest drawing. Thanks, Cindi

I would love to win this, how fun! Let’s see.
I feel most confident when I am around friends and those that love me. I choose friends with good hearts, who are fun, sometimes crazy and always supportive. What on earth is an hour of free time?! :) I love music so this is nearly impossible for me but the christian girl in me says Amazing Grace. Hip, hmm. I guess in some ways I’d like to think so. I suppose in alot of instances if you think your hip you might not be, but one can hope;)

If I had an hour to myself I would update in my children’s journals. I have keep journals on our three children, Kyle-almost 16, Korey-14 and our daughter Kacy-12. I had tried over the course of time to update at least once a month. As they have gotten older it seems that it isn’t a once a month entry anymore. I do the best that I can, but it is so cool to be able to read back in their journals and it really takes me back to that moment.
I love the concept of your game and I am sure it helps the teens chat.

If I had an hour of free time, I’d go for a long walk in one of our fantastic parks in my city. I love just walking and taking deep breaths of fresh air! Of course, it would have to be 65 and sunny for the ideal walk :) !

If I had an hour of free time…I would go to my favorite store, Home Goods and leisurely browse the aisles without my antsy husband, bored teenager or rambunctious 4 year old bugging me…did I mention that they are all MALE…so they hate Home Goods anyways…well, I know my husband secretly loves it, but he will never admit to it ;)

If I had an extra hour of free time I’d go shopping. Well, maybe “window shopping” since money is so tight right now. A girl can dream.

How do you choose your friends?
I look for people that have things I can talk about in common with and are honest and open with me and make me feel like I can be honest and open with them.

What is the greatest song ever written?
For me, I think that the greatest song ever written was by Jim Croche with “Time in a bottle”. The lyrics are inspirational and very compelling.

I think a classy person is a hip person. To me, a person with class is a person who is always considerate of others feelings, aplologizes and accepts responsibility when they are wrong and will follow their dream without stepping on other peoples dreams to get there. To me a hip person is one of those people you know you can always trust with your dreams, secrets, hopes and fears and know they will never go any further.

What makes me confident about myself? My parents and Jesus. I know my parents will always be there for me to encourage all of my dreams and to teach me that failure is never final but only a lesson on the way to another goal.
