Planning Spring Break

by char on March 19th, 2007

Trips and TreatsSpring Break seems to be pretty spread out this year. My friends in Texas were on Spring Break last week, others have it this week, the county to our north takes their break the week before Easter and ours is the week after. I was talking with my kids yesterday about what we should do during spring break. For the most part, they just want to hang out with friends and maybe take one or two day trips.

My challenge is keeping everyone happy. I have a 10 year old boy who is just into things that move, computers, jets, space, science and such. An 8 year old girl who is crazy about animals and anything art related that is hands on. Then I have a 5 year old daughter who is pretty easily entertained, but leans towards more artistic and play.

I think we are going to take a two day journey to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. We can take in the Baltimore Aquarium, The Maryland Science Center, and Port Discovery (the children’s museum). That should cover everyone’s interests, and I can get some retail therapy at the Galleria and other Inner Harbor shops.
