Summer Teen Activities
Summer is fast approaching and most teens are looking forward to their summer vacation. The vacation bliss often lasts for a week or so then summer boredom can set in. This is the time of year to start looking for activities for your teen that will help them to avoid boredom and may help them to learn or improve a skill.
Summer jobs are always a popular way for teens to spend their excess time in the summer. For many it is a necessity to save for college or for that first car. Depending on the job market in your area and the age of the teen jobs may not be a viable option for your teen.
Summer camps are another way for your teen to spend some quality time this summer. My daughter is looking at summer music camps (and it will be a necessity if she makes Drum Major for her high school band - wish her luck the tryouts are tomorrow).
