The secret to a happy kitchen
Did you know that you can inherit bad habits? Mine happens to be closing kitchen cabinet doors. My uncle was visiting a couple of weeks ago and he pointed out that his wife was constantly yelling at him to close the cabinet doors. So, if your kids are not overly tidy when it comes to keeping the kitchen neat… just maybe they got it from you lol…
But I have a routine! I wonder if I inherited that too?? Anyway, I do a quick tidy up of the kitchen before I come up to work, just in case I have surprise company, and then at one o’clock, while I’m having lunch, I finish the job. The first floor has to be neat. The second floor, now that I can’t promise! ;)
So, while the kids are young, get the into the habit of cleaning up after themselves. Sure makes life a lot easier! And you can also sing at the top of your lungs if that gets the job done quicker!
