The Snow Blanket
Someday, I am going to have grandchildren and with this thought in mind, I began collecting Christmas houses that were sturdy enough for kids to play with. Can you imagine how much fun that would be for them??
But I never liked the idea of the cords that would enable the houses to light up, so I simply packed them away in a box until I could come up with a way to make the little houses glow on their own. And then I saw this.
And the more I think about it, the more I like the idea. I could get out of nearly all the work of setting up the village. I could simply set out the “snow blanket” and then leave all of the houses and accessories and let the kids create the town. That should keep them occupied for hours!
