Tween Girls Christmas List
Each year we ask our kids to write out their Christmas wish list - just to give us some ideas as to what to get them and so I am prepared when aunts and uncles ask, and Grandma, too. My 9 year old daughter got her list ready for me last night and I thought I would share it with you - as it might give you ideas if you are shopping for a tween girl, too.
- Webkinz - Yorkie, Collie, German Shepherd, Penguin or Beagle - any one is fine
- Webkinz clothes or charms
- American Girl doll - Ivy
- American Girl bed and Julie’s locker
- Pink camera case
- Rollerblades
- DS Games
- New bike
- Clothes from Justice or Limited Too
- Purse
- Cell phone
- Books
- Monopoly Electronic Banking and The Game of Life Twists and Turns
My daughter will not get everything on this list - but it does give me some good ideas! I’ll share my son’s list later today - just in case you are looking for ideas for an 11 year old boy.

How do you decide what she gets and what she shouldn’t have at all? I have trouble telling how much is enough so that the kids won’t be disappointed, but not so much that they really don’t care about any of it.

Kate - we have three kids so obviously she is not getting everything on that list. We are still trying to decide our budget, but we will probably assign a dollar amount to what we are willing to spend plus a number so the kids all get the same number of gifts.

my young teen has also made a list but since her items were alot more money, she is only getting one big item and some smaller things. She wanted an electric guitar, but she is buying that with her grandparents money and some babysitting money, so that took the edge off some. I think they get more expensive as they get older.

what if your kids wanted one of those items really badly but you didnt get it for them and it was cheap too.
