Welcome to Weary Parent
I guess you could say that the title fits. It all started twenty seven years ago when my son was born. He didn’t think that it was necessary to sleep the entire night until he was a year and a half. I wondered if I would ever sleep soundly again. And just as I was beginning to enjoy a few nights of peace, his sister arrived and we started the trend all over again.
Silly me, I thought that perhaps I would be lucky the second time around, but she was even worse. She would wake up for a bottle and then would be ready to play for a few hours before she was ready to go back to sleep.
Yes, you could say that I was definitely a weary parent, but the fun was just starting. I hope that you will visit often as I share little anecdotes and words of wisdom about bringing up two little bundles of joy!
And no, I wouldn’t trade them for the world!

Welcome to the ranks. My daughter is just now sleeping throught the night at 1. I am so glad! I am one of those people who require a minimun of 8 hrs but prefer 10. Speeking of sleep, I think I’ll go do that. Hope you can too now that the kids are older. But from what I have herad, your worries just get bigger.

Thanks to both of you for stopping by. And that tap dance lol… reminds me of my daughter and her love of bubble wrap. At twenty-five, she can still make me laught.
And Kelly, you are so right about worries getting bigger. But my answer to that was to give the kids a curfew until they move out. That is the only way you will get any sleep… or maybe it’s just me ;)

great blog concept sp - now tell me….how do we juggle 3 kids, 2 jobs, 2 businesses and a small blog network?!
