Wordless Wednesday - They Canceled School For This

Snowday

I just took this picture out my front door. Do you see the grass sticking up through the snow? How about the clear pavement on our little country road? And they canceled school today? Give me a break!

    Our school district is so paranoid! All I can say is I am glad I work from home and didn’t have to scramble for somewhere for the kids to go.

    We had 7.25 inches of snow and only a two hour delay thank goodness.

    It’s pretty sad that schools have to be so paranoid about lawsuits that they cancel school for a dusting of snow - isn’t it?

    What’s more - how are YOU holding up with the snow day? LOL

    That happens here all the time. We get the smallestdusting of snow and they close the schools. We had a snow day last Thursday. All the snow was gone by noon.

    I remember while living in Southern OK school getting cancelled due to snow. This is what it looked like. I’m sure the kids must have been thrilled.
